h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Nothing particularly exciting to write about at this point. Right now I'm at my parents house (an hour and a half away from my apartment), bored out of my mind. As a general rule, I tend to come home every so often since Murray is very boring (all there is to do is drink, smoke pot, have sex, or work since classes are out for the summer) and a good home cooked meal is a nice change of pace from either work food or fast food. (I can't cook very well and my budget can't afford a lot at once)

The rent is due on 1st June, so rather than stay here for a few more days, I have to go back and pick up my paycheck and make sure that everyone has enough money to cover rent for this month. (one of my flat mates has yet to get a job and to date has been bumming money from his parents and his sisters in order to cover for the bills. He currently owes me $11.41 for the phone bill. This is really bothering me because I would have thought he was responseable enough to have gotten employment by now!)

On a side note, I still have a few days before I have to go back to work again, which is a blessing. I worked the entire Memorial Day weekend (25th-27th May) and I've had enough of people tipping next to nothing. I'm a crappy waitress (I've only been doing it for three weeks), but I wish people would understand that I'm trying to pay bills! Come on people, give me a break...

Also, fair warning: I can't spell worth a damn due to being dyslexic and also not very good at it in general, so if an entry isn't perfect, I'm sorry ahead of time.
