Sorry it took me so long to reply. I've been studying and also forgot I'd volunteered to be an ACE. But I'm back now. Thanks for the greeting!

Great to see you're back. Did the studying go well? My exams are finished now so I'm back in the wonderful world of real work.

Before being an ACE, you might want to update your front page, we like to know a bit about you, doesn't have to be really indepth if you don't want. Have a look at other peoples if you want some ideas. (Mine's a bit out of date so it might get a revamp soon).

Get to meet lots of people, as we usually give our opinions on new ACEs, kinda "oh yeah I've seen that person around, seems friendly would make a good ACE". Rather than "not come across this person before, not sure if would make a good ACE" you get the idea. Have a look at the aces page (sorry can't remember the link) if your set. There are other groups you can join as well.
