I just had one of those 'life' moments

where you remember a lyric from a song - in this case Tom Cochrane's 'Boy inside the man' - and suddenly realise how old you've actually become. Pursuing this line of thought, I perused bubster's page, found he had been talking to you, and read your hournal entry about which he had most recently been talking. I sympathised with the general crappiness that appeared at the time to have been occurring, and that's when the 'age' thing struck me most strongly. Coninciding with this came the thought that if I didn't tell you all this now, you'd never know, and the general crappiness may never abate...smiley - bigeyes!

Maybe I'm just getting so old I'm losing my mind...smiley - winkeye

So how've you been otherwise, 'manda?

P.S., I'm glad to know that I 'wish [I] were this cool'. I was also pleased to notice that I was one of the people involved in making this 'coolness' happen, and surprised that I started drooling anyway...smiley - winkeye

*Oh, dear! Maybe I really am going senile...smiley - tongueout!*

*hands over a hanky*

That'll help with some of the drool... lemme know if I need to find a sponge. smiley - winkeye

Anyway, right. "Life moments". There's this new (heh) All-80's-All-The-Time station on the radio now and I listen to it with much abandon and rock out to the hip grooves of The Bangles and the like as I look in the car mirror and admire the new "highlights" that seem to have sprung up in my hair, when I suddenly notice with horror that they aren't highlights at all but GREY HAIRS, and at that very moment a snappy, red sportcar pulls along side me filled to the brim with bouncy 17 year olds listening to their new-fangled 'Rock-And-Roll', and I'm reminded that it's time to take my multivitamin.

*sigh*

Otherwise, I've been SUPER and it's nice to know that I'm not going to be senile all alone. The bad part is that when we all get there we won't recognize each other, let alone remember where we left our socks. But what the hey. smiley - winkeye

Hypo, you're the COOLEST. smiley - smiley

Heck. I can't remember where I left my socks now, forget about later.

And I dye my hair. So as far as I know, I'm still twelve.

Thank you. smiley - smiley

Yes, well. I've always been mature for my obviously young age *flips her dyed hair and pulls her face so the wrinkles don't show*
