If you ever have two thoughts, don't buy them blocks or legos. Legos are safer than the wooden blocks though. They'll throw them at each other and need sutures.

I liked the heavier wooden blocks, but I didn't have siblings to throw them at me.
I also LOVED Lincoln Logs.

I usually just watched the other kids playing with those things while I built up my Star Wars doll (aka ACTION FIGURE raaaaaar) collection.
