Poor Herman has a broken tail.

Not sure how it happened... but a few days ago, I was wearing my boots and we were walking, and he wobbled and slowed down and I trod upon his tail. I'm fairly certain it's me who broke the poor kitteh.

Anyway, he's on pain and anti inflammatory meds, and we need to ensure he doesn't jostle it for a few weeks, so we need to shut him up during the days when we're not home. Poor little guy.

Please keep fingers crossed it heals completely and quickly. He hasn't got a splint or anything, but further injury could damage nerves, and worst case scenario lead to amputation. With his condition, he uses his tail as a rudder, and I can't see him walking very well at all without it. Plus it's a nice tail, and it's his pride and joy.

Poor, poor Herman.

Awwwwww.....poor Herman & poor you for feeling guilty.

I know the feeling, Eddais getting arthritic & developing cataracts & poor hearing due to age, she constantly follows me around & i tread on her; which is dodgy for both of us 'cos of my wonky leg.

I'm missing Yoda, yet again, she & Fritz went to cattery today because me & P are away doing Inspection Tour then Germany to see P's Mom, who has had major ops at age 93; we can't take Edda, we're going by air, she'll be looked after by P's ex; but it's going to be hard on both of us to be without our beloved pets.

Give Herman a long stroking session from me (and tell him Yoda will email him, of course!)
