Just hearing about this on BBC World Service (it's too early for Radio 4). Quite a local hero I hear. smiley - rose

Yeah...my immediate thought was that it was a shame he didn't hang on until 5th November.

Hear him here, until next Saturday:

(annoyingly, it's streamed rather than podcast)

It'll be Gore next. Then there'll be no more socialists left in America.

That ought to be okay for you PC (Brits don't have to pay a licence fee to listen to the radio)

Ed, did you see Gore talking to Dimbleby on election night?

Coincidentally, I just found out about it about two seconds ago, but I'll have to wait until I'm @ home to watch. Yer man is always 'good value'.

Here it is anyway.

I got a call this morning in reference to material for an antibiotics campaign, which apparently the PCT sent out to the whole county informing them to get in touch with us when they needed re-stocking - material we haven't even heard about, much less agreed to/been paid for. What was that about Matthew 3:6?

I watched a Chris Rock show at the weekend. He had some good stuff about the election.

"Are we ready for a black president? We should be, we just had a retarded one."

He also said McCain was so old, he used to own Sidney Poitier.

How Mrs Obama couldn't be First Lady;

"Honey, I'm President!"

"Nuh-uh. WE President."

*sigh*

Fax just in from a dentist - "We need some of the new FP17W, FP17OW and PRW forms, but they're not on the form."

(quick phone call)

"Why do you need the Welsh ones?"
"Oh, they're in Welsh?"
"Yes."
"Oh, then I guess we don't need them then."

I don't know...I thought he seemed quite cogent. smiley - smiley. I liked his 'It's your turn' at the end.

Here's William F Buckley calling him a queer and threatening to smash him in the face:

Why shouldn't that stuff be public knowledge anyway? Don't the BNP try to play themselves off as a legitimate political organization?

Well it wouldn't be the normal thing for any political party - or any organisation - to make its membership list public. In fact, they have to keep it confidential under the Data Protection Act.

An interesting thing is that according to various Anti-Fa organisations, the list seems for the most part to include only the 'respectable' members (although the guy I knew who was jailed is still on it). Many of their 'known associates' remain covert.
