No worries- I wouldn't think I'll have time to download anything till Friday at the earliest. Cook, eat!

Ah. I'll be baking some beans tonight- for my dad. He mentioned on Sunday he never eats them anymore (now that he's insulin-dependent) because of all of the brown sugar and molasses. When I showed him my recipe and the sugar content of the borwn rice syrup I use in place of sugar & molasses, he said he could eat them that way. So I'm bringing some along with for dinner tomorrow. And acorn squashes, too.
That's all a bit off topic, though. Sorry!

Here's a place to start with the sound effects, I'll have to look on the old hard drive, too. http://www.sounddogs.com/catsearch.asp?Type=1
Oh, and for a Halloween party, you might try something by Messer Chups, too. Sort of Russian electronic rockabilly. They don't generally sing, but put in a lot of bits of soundtracks of old vampire/horror films!

Someone was very alarmed that I only knew one Zappa song - City Of Tiny Lights, and that's only because of the mental animation.

Ringo Starr also made a Devil Woman back in the early seventies.
I think I still have the album somewhere in the clutter (which is even more clutterish now due to the move to the New Lair...)

I've mainly been too lazy to look through the albums K has pulled for Halloween, but Beat Happening have a song on their Jamboree album called Bewitched.
New Lair?

Ah, blog. I'll go have a peek. I don't keep up with blogs too well these days since they've blocked social networking sites from the work servers.
*goes to find out about the new Lair*

Hmmm, the randomiser here just came up with "Gothic Surf-A-Rama" by the Vampire Beach Babes - that's another fitting one!
