h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Just checking back with a quick update-

If I had known how easy it was to take these blinds down, soak them in the bathtub, and put them back up, they would all have been cleaned several times by now. The fabric strips may have shrunk a wee bit, as the one we did seems to be hanging a bit differently. But we may just take the rest down over the next few months and clean them, too- at least all of the miniblinds, which don't appear to have any fabric holding the slats together.

Something good came out of all that, at least.
