Pc, sounds like a brill weekend. Ours was ok, nothing fancy just hanging out with family, some pool time and monopoly, with large amounts of vodka in the evening

for JEllen's biochemistry.

The amazing thing about mock duck is that someone's actually con to the trouble of texturing seitan to make it resemble duck skin.

I stir fry it with salted black beans, pineapple, onions, ginger, peppers.

I always hated duck when I was a kid- rich, fatty meat always upset my stomach. But I'll try the mock duck anyway just for the hell of it. I'm not supposed to have the salted beans, but I bet just once won't kill me. Pineapple . So good here this time of year!

mmm pineapple, I love mine on pizza with jalapenos...

Ah, a woman after me own heart!

Only...I find Jalapenos a little too wet. I prefer thinly sliced fresh chillis with mine. I like the way they wrinkle and char slightly.

Haven't had a pineapple pizza in ages- mainly because the only place we order from that will do my side without cheese, doesn't have pineapple as an ingredient. Maybe I'll make one sometime soon. And definitely with jalapeno.
