I'm fairly prgamatic when I injure myself, but the sight of other people's blood can make me swoon a bit. I could never have been a nurse or anything like that.

Meanwhile, I'm having fun now that we're actually having real *winter*. We've even got a little snow, just enough to enjoy without any major inconvenience. And wonder of wonders, someone shoveled the front walk and porch yesterday.

Made a nice lasagna for dinner last night, with a bit of spinach, a bit too much cheese, and no fingers.

No fingers? Good. They shouldn't be in your main course.

That's what finger-bowls are for.

In my defense, the recipe called for a finger of red wine. It's just unfortunate that I took it too literally.

You can't grate . Honestly, even if you try freezing it, it really doesn't work.

However, you can have Great , especially here in France (but also now, in fairness to Ivan & Willem; in Aus & S. Africa)
