Hi guys.

I have been so sick this weekend, it's not funny. I guess it's flu. Coughing, plugged up sinuses, lots of mucus, aches and pains, swollen adnoids, upset stomach, and a wicked fever. Much better today than yesterday, but still feeling crap. And I coughed so hard last night I retched up some stomach stuff, which I promptly inhaled, so my lungs are burning like smiley - bleep.

But I seem to be improving somewhat.

That said, had a lovely grilled cheese sandwich (at least I'm assuming it was lovely, I couldn't taste a thing) for breakfast and now I'm going to have some smiley - tea and watch either "The Aristocrats" or this DVD documentary we have about Wal-Mart and the company's policies in dealing with its workers (saying more might violate the House Rules, so suffice it to say the documentary isn't pro-company).

And I've inherited a somewhat sickly miniature rose bush I've pruned back and will try to ressurect, and some spider plant cuttings I'm going to try encourage to grow roots.

Oh, thank you. You're a goddess amongst mere mortals.

I like Gothly's addition of chili powder, think I'll give it a try. Thank you so much!

SR that sounds great, and also like the idea of chili, we love eating jalapenos in this house when we are sick because it sure does clean the sinuses out!

Mr Flay has been absent quite a while now...smiley - erm

Pc hope you get well soon smiley - cheerup

The chili powder sure helped the sore throat! Thanks!

Meanwhile, I feel somewhat better today (although my boss took one look at me this morning and told me to go home smiley - laugh). My chest is very tight and I'm really congested, but the fever's gone and my sinuses are clearing up.

Indeed he has.smiley - blue I'm hoping it's a productive absence that will result in him being terribly famous for his brilliant writing.
