If we started on the mainstream parties we'd be here all day!
How come everyone seems enthusiastic about David Cameron these days? Does nobody remember that he was responsible for Howard's racist election strategy?
I'm reminded of a Roger McGough poem:
There are fascists
Pretending
To be humanitarians.
Like cannibals
On a health kick
Eating only vegetarians.

Newly-elected leader of the Conservative party. His 'refreshing, young style' is thought to pose a threat to New Labour for the next election. What? And all their members have suddenly made a 180 degree turn?
Unfortunately politics is 99.999% style over substance.
btw...I forgot to mention one other minor party: Respect. 1 MP, currently resident in the Celebrity Big Brother house (and doing himself no favours whatsoever).
Oh yeah...and there's also one MP for Kidderminster Hospital & Health Concern. And I think there's still a couple of Communist councillors in Fife and South Wales.
