UNICEF's Smurf commercial?

I can't view video from my work computer, so I won't have a chance to check this out till I get home. MSN has a link to video of the actual commercial.

It'd be interesting to see, for me, as both a supporter of UNICEF, and an old Smurf fan.

Sounds like it's getting lots of attention- which, IMO, is a good thing.

Nor do I (have video access).

However...I did hear a comedian on TV recently (Dylan Moran) talking about how stupid military mottoes are.

'For example, the motto of the Parachute Regiment is "Death Before Dishonour." Speaking for myself, there's plenty of dishonourable things I'd do to avoid death. Like give a blow job to a smurf.'

Dylan Moran is the guy from "Black Books", yes? I rather enjoy that one, have some DVDs (thanks, Superdogmonkey, for helping with that).

We have these hard candies here called "Jolly Ranchers", they come in various fruit flavors, and my favorites are grape and blue raspberry. Once, after eating a whole gobful of the blue ones, my friend Stacy got a look at me and told me "you look like you've been giving blow jobs to Smurfs".

I can't imagine there'd be much to it.

Dylan Moran went further:
