Is this the most depressing activity ever?
Mu Beta Started conversation Aug 1, 2004
In a fit of boredom this weekend, I have been Googling members of my family (apparently my brother is an Internet Poker player with the ridiculous nickname of 'Timmynotts'). After getting bored with this - my uncle has a huge web presence as he is a published author and successful business chappie - I have been Googling my ex-girlfriends.
Imagine for a minute how many painful memories this brings back. Then imagine how annoyed I am to find out half of them don't exist, and the rest are all in Australia, USA or other new and interesting places.

"I have been Googling my ex-girlfriends"
Is that a euphamism? If not, it ought to be...

Hmmm...can't find any of mine. This is probably due to the fact that they were single when I knew them, and in all likelihood are now married.
Either that or they're *really* trying to avoid me!

Hmmm...that would be a simulpost, of course.
Unless Odo is one of Freddy's exes. In which case you're both keeping it very quiet.

Hmm, this is a depressing activity
I checked four ex-partners and all oftem were there as the top google hit with lots of details of their new and successful lives - Two charity directors in London, a chief NHS Psychologist in the Midlands and a sexual health policy development chief in the home counties.
This says to me that I either go out with strong, ambitious, go-getting women; or those with unusual surnames.

I do like the fact that your partners have gone on to be a psychologist and a sexual disease specialist.
Mind you, I can't really talk; one of mine is a Waste Disposal expert.

It gets worse. The sexual health policy person is now living as a lesbian
Surely I wasn't that bad was I

Nah, Greydesk - it just means that you made making whoopee to a woman look like so much fun she just had to try it for herself
Key: Complain about this post
