What A Strange Thing To Do
Mu Beta Started conversation Jun 16, 2003
A very odd mannerism of mine has just been pointed out to me, and all this time I had no idea I was doing it:
Whenever my browser takes me a page I wasn't expecting, I pick up the mouse, turn it over and stare intently at the mouse ball and serial number as if it's the fault of my poor rodent.
Does anyone else do this, or is it just me? Any psychological reasoning behind it?

No, I just look at the bottom of my mouse because I'm mesmerised (no I can't spell it properly!) by the bright read optical reader

Not that I have any vested interest in Kerr moving house. Before delving through her journal, I initially assumed it was a countdown to Harry Potter 5.

Potter 5? Hardly. I've read the first one after one of Bruce's sprogs left it at our house- it didn't inspire me enough to buy the rest.

Oh, it was a goodish read, don't get me wrong. If they leave any otehrs in the house, I'll read them. Just not go out and actually *buy* them.
