'big bike' licence
Dr Jack Started conversation Apr 29, 1999
I don't know if things have changed since I went for my licence a couple of years ago but I spent 5 full training days on a 500cc bike, passed my 'direct access' test the next saturday and could ride any of the many ludicrously overpowered motorcycles out there. I went for a 125cc instead because I'm sensible and see loads of bike trauma in Casualty.
Last month I bought a 955cc Truimph that does 0-60 in under 3 seconds, I'm less sensible these days.

That's for sure. (But then again, I was not elected to watch your bike die and suffer, while innocent by-standers' committees are endangered). Mmm...Strong is the Triumph in this one. But untrained he is...yes, Mmm...untrained. --Noah
