Hi mrs
abbi normal "Putting on the Ritz" with Dr Frankenstein Started conversation Dec 12, 2002
I was just wondering how you are & about your appointments. Mick-chan kindly forwarded my email to U. I certainly understand you are swamped ! No expectations here-options!
Hi mrs
mrs the wife Posted Dec 13, 2002
Hi Abbi, thanks for dropping by, don't think me tardy in replying but Charlotte is very poorly with a heavy cold and very high temperature so we spent last night up with her (consequently no hootoo or e-mailing for me). I have got your address from Chan-Mick and will drop you a line as soon as I come up for air if that's OK. Sorry that this is so brief, I want to get back to her as if she stirs and I'm not there it'll take me hours to settle her back down
Speak tomorrow hopefully
Hi mrs
zendevil Posted Dec 13, 2002
Hi from me as well!
Hope Charlotte's feeling better; this cold/flu thing is a right pain; M & me have both had it.
Don't worry about replying etc; you've got enough to do in RL at the moment!
Glad the e-mails are getting through at last.
Take care of YOURSELF as well!
Speak to you soon, big to Charlotte, say hi to superdogmonkey from me!
Terri.
Hi mrs
mrs the wife Posted Jan 3, 2003
Hiya! I'm back
Happy new year to you, I'm sorry I have not been about over the festive period... Charlotte is teething again and is still not over her cold so evenings have been a bit difficult and daytimes filled with outings as Superdogmonkey is off work until the 6th. Family time has been really nice!
How are you? I hope that everything is OK at your end and that health wise things aren't too bad. I'll drop you an e-mail tomorrow hopefully when I next get on-line. I am expected downstairs now to participate in the great toy cull of South West London. Charlotte has now got so many toys we cannot store them all, so we have to be a bit ruthless and late night is the only opportunity we will have to do it. The obsolete ones will be taken to the charity shop down the road, so hopefully they will go to a good home
Oh well, I'd better move and groove or SDM will be binning everything!
Once again, have a happy and (please god) healthy new year.
Hi mrs
mrs the wife Posted Jan 7, 2003
OK, so tardy is my middle name. Charlotte is still coughing her way through the night, eating into my hootoo time. So, as I haven't sent that e-mail yet - how are you and how are things? We have had snow today (a whole 1cm, very exciting for SW London) and I had to take little'un to the doctor to check her cough. She is still quite poorly, but the quack assured me that every child in the area has it and they will all recover eventually
I am hoping to get back into the swing of posting regularly again in the next few days. Superdogmonkey is back at work now and I am hoping to make a half hour for myself in the evenings when he gets home for catching up on correspondence here on hootoo as well as on my e-mail. If there is anything more private to say (test results etc) I will e-mail you, but for general chitchat will hootoo do?
Do let me know how things are at your end. Hopefully all is as well as it can be with you too.
Speak soon (is there a smiley?)

Hi mrs
mrs the wife Posted Jan 7, 2003
I got your e-mail thanks. I entered you into my address book properly, so I'll drop you a quick hello just to make sure you have got mine if that is any help?
Blimey! we are on line at the same time and I haven't got my eyelids propped open with matchsticks... that's a first!
Hi mrs
abbi normal "Putting on the Ritz" with Dr Frankenstein Posted Jan 7, 2003
I have mine propped open! OK on email, just a quick re-check would be great! Congrats on your new car! Hope it helps your back too.

Hi. My address book it hopelessly stuck on "busy updating". It will not allow new ones I am sure the mail is fine. Thanks
Hi mrs
zendevil Posted Jan 19, 2003
Hello, mrs, sorry not to have been in touch.
We've had similar things going on too, double doses of the bloody bugs, changing the "Beast" to broadband (took a week offline & turns out to be about 4 times as slow as before!)
So only now beginning to catch up, I know you're still there 'cos & keep wittering on merrily on their punk convo (he says you're on it too!)
I'll send you an email, we now have yet another address, a bit easier to spell than the old one, but the old one still gets here as well.
to Charlotte
Terri
Hi mrs
mrs the wife Posted Jan 19, 2003
No worries Terri, I have been a terrible conversationalist recently as Abbi can testify. Because Charlotte cannot be left alone for any length of time (she is only 18 months old after all) I don't seem to get any time to get online and have a chat. When I was regularly working from home, I had childcare in place so that I could do other things, but until I get some more work in, we are a bit strapped for cash for luxuries like childcare when I am cheap and available
I hope you and are feeling better now and that the broadband revolution is running a little smoother. is putting a package together for of some of his music (you lucky, lucky people) so I may enclose a little note myself if I get the chance.
Speak soon (I really will try... promise)
Hi mrs
zendevil Posted Jan 19, 2003
Great to hear from you! Don't worry about the contact bit, I know it ebbs & flows, RL esp kids & cash HAVE to take priority!
Awaiting the with bated breath!()
Be warned, is threatening likewise; where will it all end?!
I SHALL get the bloody email backlog together, HONEST!!
Terri
Hi mrs

Hang in there! As U know....She will not always be that helpless I wish you a good nights sleep and an hour to yourself somehow>>>some at home work!
Hi mrs
mrs the wife Posted Jan 20, 2003
Hmm... two days running now, the excitement could be too much for me! Thanks both of you for your understanding on this one - I'm not an anti-social old bat... really!
My mum is looking after Charlotte for me at the moment to give me 10 mminutes to myself, and also so I can go to the quack to get my next shot of B12. The first was last week and only another 10 to go after todays. I've still got the bruise on my arm from last week so hopefully the one later on will involve less bloodshed .
I have now also been told that low B12 causes pernicious anaemia as well as demylination. Pernicious anaemia causes extreme lethargy so apparently I should start to feel full of beans and the joys of spring in a couple of weeks - I can't wait to not feel so tired all the time - and there was me blaming poor Charlotte for my continual state of knackeredness! A chum of mine is studying nutrition and she tells me that it is also responsible for forming new DNA and nerve regeneration so I'm glad they have spotted this particular problem at last.
Terri, I can hardly wait for and to start exchanging their musical tastes... . But really, if it keeps the boys happy it's OK by me has got earphones and can be terribly considerate when he wants .
BTW, Abbi, if you ever want your ears pounded just to add to the joys of life, I'm sure the boys would be happy to send anything over to you as well .
Oh well, have good days both of you.
Hi mrs
zendevil Posted Jan 20, 2003
"Forming new DNA"!!!
does this mean that the latest gruesome plot of the De Myelin Nation is to clone the dear departed Douglas!!!
(I just knew all that myelin would end up somewhere useful!!)
Hey, you really must join in all this fun; I'm on the front page most of the time as one of the 5 busiest convos; Abbi & me feature strongly in the official hootoo statistics; now the Sunday Times has hootoo in the list of best websites!!(so it dam well should!)
--all this you realise is due to my beautiful dancing alien.
(oh, & Yoda of course. We don't talk about Harley.)
anyway, good luck with the evil needles. Personally I never trust doctors & sharp nasty things; I was married to one & made him a badge with the immortal words "don't worry, it's only a little prick!"
(quelle surprise! We're now divorced!)
Terri
