Maybe I should add windows too!
Seriously though, If you write me a 'Door Guide' (eg: You write how to use a cat flap) I'll look over it, maybe modify it, then slap it in and put your name on it! How's that?

LOTR!? Isn't it great!? How many times have you read the books?

More times than I can remember. I think the Silmarillion is better as it is grander and has greater danger and greater heroism.

No - it hasn't been filmed yet - but it's only a matter of time . . .

The Silmarillion would be incredibly difficult to film but given the wonders they performed filming The Fellowship of the Ring I can see hope of it happening in my lifetime.
