Hmmm wonder how long it takes you to 'pop' to the shop.

I went to the shop about 2:00 to get a loaf and some washing up liquid, it cost me about £30 alltogether

and I am going to bed soon cos I am tired for some reason

remind me not to move to Wales, jeez I thought the South was expensive.

I have a pub less about 2 mins walk from my house, I can see it over the neighbours fence. Haven't been in it for over 2 years. The next nearest pub is 5 mins walk, not been in that one for years either, though I used to be 'Public house furnishings Engineer' (can you work out what that means) in that one.

aint if funny that it is never raining to much to stop you going to the pub, but it can be raining to much for you to come out of there

"Public house furnishings engineer" - I was referring to my ex job as a pub cleaner I'd call a pub drinker a 'Public house quality control tester'

I started a thead on Askh2g2 about common jobs with fancy names, thought I'd get more replies than I have, maybe not many people are daft like me, and make up fancy names for common jobs.

Hows the weather now, has it stopped raining, I assume you managed to escape from the pub.

Its raining here, but I still have to go to the shops in a bit, I hope it don't cost as much as yesterday
