If you send or get a private message, then it will apear on your page, but only so you can see it, no one else can see the message on your page,
If you go to the persons page that you are talking to, you will find that you cannot see the conversation on there page

hello manda again just wondering can anbody subcribe to a thread .by going to the f123467 link? of a certain person private messages? +if thats possible whos knows who subscribed to then cause it wouldnt appear on anybodys space .if you get my meaning

anyone can go to there and subscribe to it,,,BUT,,,they wont get any messages from there so it would be a wast of time
only you will get the messages from your privat messages,
but don't forget that the STAFF can see all messages

Yes, but the way it was worded ie must abide by the rules of whichever site you are messaging from etc... does that not mean that we are not allowed private messaging and it would also appear that very few know that it actually works fine on h2g2 without going thru ICAN...
