i'm always lurking around somewhere *lurk lurk* 
the throat is very painful. it hurts to talk, swallow, or just be (add grammer where necessary)

i think chocolate covered strawberries are an excellent cure for a sore throat.....

mmmmmm that sounds lovely, but i have no idea where to get any 
yoghurt's good, yummy cold yoghurt. so soothing!
