The article is really helpful,I am depressed and feel isolated
This is all new to me I didn't have a name for how I have felt in the past.
I have recently started working for myself and I miss the support of collegues.
I am at the beginning of a cycle of depression and have sought help,
I don't meet my councellor for 2 weeks yet and I am holding my breath.
I am resisting the idea of anti-depressants as I feel they may mask the feelings that this bizzare illness gives and so they may get in the way. I would be glad of your advice.

Medication will gently lift your hormone levels back to normal. You will not lose anything and nothing will be masked. The feelings you have are normal but probably blown out of proportion.
It is an illness as you said and for any other illness you would probably accept medical help.
Please think about it.
