What on earth have I done with my brain
My mum had promised josh a trip to the cinema today ,but as she was going to be at the hospital with my dad and didnt want to disappoint him, gave me the money n asked me to take him. I was completely knackered this morning and didnt really feel up to it at all..and it ended up being 240 before we left home! we got to the cinema at 4 (after having to stop in a shoop and to get josh a mcdonalds on the way) and the next showing of charlie n the chocolate fatory or fantastic 4 wasnt till after 5! i rememberd lil had told me there was a showing of charlie at 340 (thanks for checking that!) s i asked the ticket guy if i was still the trailers , n he said it was 'just' starting..so we paid for the tickts, (£12!)glanced at the board which said number 76, ran up the escalators, got in the los as quick aspossible, grabbed seats and though it seemed a little far in! it was already at the part with thr squirrels! maybe theyve reworked it diffferently n weve only missed 10 mins i thought, but was a bit cross as the guy at the ticket desk mustve given me some duff info i thought!
anyway, about 45 mins later..it finished! i was furious as we mutve missed at haldf an hour or more of a film id been told had 'just started' i went down..had a right go at the ticket guy in frnt of the que of people i was holding up.. who was determined i was wrong n called me the manager!
turns out wed gone into the wrong screen! we shouldve gone to 10 not 6..6 which wed seen on the board at a quick glance in a hurry to catch it was the end of the 230 showing! so wed mssed about an hour..all because i was in such a rush i hadnt checked the screen number on the tickets! !
What a fecking pleb!
I did go back and apologise to the guy id yelled at thpough..and to the manager for wastimg her time.
thankfully josh wasnt to upset..

I saw it at the pictures a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was alright, but you'd be much better entertained be getting the Gene Wilder one on dvd

I've only actually fancied johnny in a couple of films (the 9th gate and pirates off the top of my head) but it seems to wind you up when i mention him so i do it more
