Got to start doing something with myself i really have! it's no wonder i can get depressed
when i spend most of my time alone at home doing nothing! ..but just lately ive been getting 'itchy' i actually feel like im wasting and want to do something about it..need to.I'm only 27, i owe myself more of a life than ive let myself have the last few years..maybe im starting to believe i deserve it too..thanks to someone in particular who though he may not realise it has affected my view of myself and actually made me reallly question it
so..i have a s appointment tuesday to talk about patches so i can go through with my promise to give up smoking..for me as well as someone very special that i made that promise to..i'd rather have him than a cigarette..
and i've just got off the phone to the local lifelife co-ordinator (a support thing for lone parents that pays for courses n stuff) to see about doing a nvq in care, and maybe a psych course too..if theres any places left i could start as soon as next week! lifeine also do a coffee/activity morning tuesdays, an an exercise class thursdays so i may have to start going along to those too anyway, i hope i'm finally ready to do it all!..i think i am...

Indeed, being active in ANYthing is a great way to revive yourself. So much , dear girl. Especially with the patch.

Hi Seraphina - glad to see that you are feeling happier with life than you were earlier in the week (and that you have got your name back).
I hope you enjoy your night out.

About time I got on and did something new.... Well, I've moved up a step on the diet front... thats a start.... hope it all works out, the course should be good, I'm seriously thinking about trying to get on some at the local college to do something computer based, just to have the bits of paper to say I can do them, and lurn some new stuff too.... for the first time in ages... I think, just being here alone at home all day most of the time, my brain sometimes feels as if it is atrophying away

Thanks all
Though i'm having my doubts about the smoking at the mo, after all my main motivation at present would be the sake of my relationship (though not the only reason) and i'm currently not sure i still have one!..n if i do how much longer for.. i'd also need a lot of support n encouragement that i don't feel i can even ask for at the mo
i really shouldn't post when im rata@sed

well I seem to write some of my better poetry when I am ...
Relationships... tough one just keep working at it and do the best you can, no one can expect anything more...
Smoking... well as someone who is addicted myself to the cigs it is tough as hell quitting but apparently (if you read the medical warnings) worth it
I am sure you can find all the encouragment you need here

And a whole load of folks who are more than willing to listen, take a bit of stress or bad attitude that goes with the withdrawal, and in short, be a friend.

Good luck Serephina! I started a college course at the last minute and I'm loving it-now in year 2. Sometimes impulsive decisions turn out to be the best ones, and they often happen at the right time.
Quitting smoking is a pain in the @rse but does wonders for your complexion! Anyway, if your college has a smoke room you can hang about there during breaks and passive smoke for a quick fix!
