Seraphina, I had something similar in my wrist, and after 11 weeks of agony (because I failed to rest it) had to have the steroid injection. It was absolutely the most painful injection EVER, *but* it completely cured the problem, and was certainly worth it. If I got it again, I would go straight for the injection and not faff about with anti-inflammatories. So, fingers crossed that the drugs work, but if they don't, don't put off having the injection.
Not been keeping up with the H2ing but have kept an eye on you whenever possible, so if you get the feeling you're being watched - you are! 
Now not coming to the meet, BTW, cos sister's hen night is that weekend. Suppose I'd better go and confess somewhere ...

If it doesn't work I'll have the injection, I've certainly had worse done to me 
just not over keen on the idea.

Yup Ged picked me some up on saturday. They seem to be helping , I do seem to be peeeing a bit more.
Off to fat club at the drs now
