h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi the is DAVEM's daughter Maureen but I suppose you already know that!!
My dad said that it would be nice if I could send you a message and that you wanted to hear from me.
So I'm trying to think of somthing to tell you about myself that you don't already know or you will once you read my introduction.
I enjoy life, although at the moment I would like to be doing a bit more with it, I have a small circle of friends who mean the world to me and would do without them.
I will be going to college to be a child minder, but I have to try and motivate myseld into doing so, my friends sister has just had a lovely baby girl called Erin and I will be the one who's looking after her but there are so many rules now that I will have so much to do in the house to make sure it's perfect for having a small child although it's fine for me and everyone I know but it has to fit in with all the rules.
I can't think of any thing else to write just now but once we start a conversation I'm sure I will find plenty to say

Hey Maureen, Thanks so much for writing. I've been having fun chatting with your Dad - he's so nice. Your plans sound wonderful - I just LOVE babies. They're so cute and silly . My friend Michelle had a little girl last summer. She looks just like her mother and is the happiest baby I've ever seen ! All she does is giggle and laugh - I've never seen her cry . As you can see, I'm totally addicted to smilies . Your Dad said you like to read. Me too - especially biographies about people who overcome tremendous odds. I also enjoy short stories as I don't have a lot of time to simply sit and read . Garden season will soon be here and I've started some seeds to get a head start on things. Nothing can be planted until the earliest May 15th because we're up in the mountains and the nights can be awfully cold . Looking forward to chatting some more - and I love your user name KAT

I must appologise to you for taking so long to get back to you, I've just not had a chance to get on here.
So you like gardening, I can't stand it, I have only a very small garden but what I do have looks like a jungle, the plants are so crowded with weeds that they are starting to die now.
When the warmer weather comes in I will get in some troops to give me a hand to untangle the plants from the weeds, dig over the whole thing then start again, only to begin again next summer probably doing the same again. lol
