in your post you mention a Joseph Lyth-Lawley who recently died. I went to school with a Joseph Lyth-Lawely between 1986 and 1993 in Wrenthorpe, Wakefield, West Yorkshire. I haven't heard from him since 1994. He would have been 26 by now and as far as I know he didn't go to University. It isn't the same Joseph Lyth-Lawely that you knew is it?

Oh David yes it is him,after Yorkshire he moved to Ross-on-wye. I'm so sorry you didn't know. In fact many of his friends didn't know and I found out by chance.

He did try university but it wasn't really for him...I remember at one point he was working for Tomorrow's World.

I'm afraid to tell you he died around 15th October 2000. From what I understand there was a family argument and he shot himself dead. I'm sorry you had to find out like this. I would be grateful if someone would put a post on friends reunited as I didn't know him from school, i don't know which school he attended.

I attended the funeral but not the cremation. I don't know if there is a grave or memorial because I'm afraid to ask his parents, they didn't like me much. If I can be of any further assistance please feel free to email me at [email protected].

He was truly the best male friend I ever had. He did some stupid things but is the only guy I ever knew who made me feel beautiful. As I said, I'm sorry you had to find out like this.

He does have a memorial plot at the St Dubricius church in Symonds Yat.

I understand exactly how you feel- I was his ex g/f at the time of his death and miss him still every day. He was the best friend anyone could want.
