'Time - it's a flyer...'
Natalie Started conversation Mar 11, 2004
...as Pilot so memorably sang in their 1975 number one hit, 'January.' But somehow I've been here two years today.
However, that's meaningless personal trivia - the important thing about today is that it marks the 52nd anniversary of Douglas Adams's birth.

Congratulations on your 2nd h2g2 Birthday Natalie!
By a remarkable co-incidence this also coincides with the birthday of Ormondroyd, who's celebrating his real birthday today!
So and all round!

Congrats on your 2nd, Natalie!
Now for one of those 'I remember when...' stories that don't befit my 18-year-old physical self, although they're second nature after almost 3 years here on h2g2...
Instead of that, actually, here's a posting from those early days... *feels like the guy with the embarrassing photos showing them to people at an 18th party or something... *

*returns from Natalie's MP page, gloating less*
Actually, no. I won't. It's too embarassing for *me*...
Whoami?

Why didn't I think of that?!
Ahhh Pilot though - weren't they fantastic? In fact, I think the h2g2 smileys are entirely based around their back catalogue. They also had one called 'Just a '.
