I call BINGO at the healthcare center of a local retirement home, at which most of the players are, obviously, elderly. When they win, they get a quarter (25 cents US). If someone has what seems to be a particularly bad stroke of luck, I cheerily quote (spoken, not sung): "O Fortuna, velut Luna statu variabilis" (O Fortune, like the moon you are changeable). Nobody seems to have the faintest idea what I'm saying, but I enjoy myself.
