Interestingly, Nine Inch Nails wrote the soundtrack for the original Quake game, and as weapons available to the player in the game include a double- and quadruple-barrelled nailgun, the boxes or nailgun ammunition (nails) were emblazoned with the Nine Inch Nails logo.
