so i sent you a message an hour or two ago entitled 'hi sorry to bother you...' and it is gone from your messages and conversation list AND GONE FROM MINE.

now if you had indicated you were going to do that... communicated with me... fine... but this is weird.

then you come in and start talking to me in the 'this is fascinating thread', not indicating at all that you have done that. Admittedly the content of my message to you was volatile but... well...

i am sorry but i feel insulted. really. i feel like you have done just what i was talking about in the fascinating thread. you have not respected me.

...i dont know what else to say. i am sure this message will disappear like the last one.

so why dont you do that for my journal thread 'whats good about americans"? i would really love that and i expressed the wish in that first message to you. Obviously you have the capability. Please do it for me and all will be forgiven no one but me was on topic so it wont be a loss.

Hold your horses! *All* users of this site can Yikes postings they find offensive - we cannot discuss moderation issues on here - the identities of 'Yikesers' must remain anonymous for the system to work - but if you want any further explanation of why your post was failed then please do reply to the email you receive.

I would be grateful if you didn't come in here making accusations before it's fully apparent what's occurred.

okay i know why it was yikesed so i apologise. i forgot the word in the pasted text was still in there.

And as for me discussing moderaton issues in your message center... i am sorry. i was told i could not talk to the moderators about the particular issue anymore. I did not know i couldnt talk in h2g2 about it.

What i didn't know was that if it is the first posting in a thread and it gets yikesed, then it disappears not only from the recipient's conversation list but also the sender's conversation list. So when it did, i assumed that, because you are an italics, that you did it. sorry.

i am especially sorry that a trolling, sexual posting is being allowed to stay in my journal.
