As you know from my posts on h2g2 YooMedias YooChat service on Telewest Broadband Canle TV was closed on friday(21/10/05) now from what i am aware ntl has acquired/merged with tw. There are rumours of a new chat startin in November/December but this has not being officially announced! On thursday there was a rumour that new chat would launch week on tuesday, 1st November but cannot see any test links on either of the dtv content links from ur personal space, was wondering of there was anyway you could look into this or see if there are any other parts of the nes.is.dtv. or whatever the address is with links or info on any new chat services and post links to it if possible. Cheers! I wouldn't know where to start!

I'd heard the rumour about a new chat service starting in November, but nothing to confirm if it is just a rumour or not. I've had a look at the nes sites and couldn't see anything but I didn't check it all. You need the top dtv link, then look for "test", then you want "catflap". That's where they usually test. Seems one has gone missing though. I'll look for a link.

I've found the file catflaphub.html, which is what i presume you meant in folder called 'trial' not 'test' just incase anyone else reads this and decides to check it out via there digibox!
What was the other catflap file called and where was it located.
I been scouting round through other folders in the dtv site on tw but can't find anysecret tests or catflap files yet but if i do i'll let you know so it cab be publicised!

Hi, i have instructions on how to access the new trial version/upgrade to the curent version of chatbox! To send you the instructions and the untested link i need your activemail address, this is for TW users only.

The new chat box has the following features:
New profile page with various eyes/mouths and 11 faces to form an avatar!
20 Colours of text!
Friends/Ignore lists
Private chat
Extra commands/features and graphic smileys in rooms!

If you know how to access the live test area/catflaphub on telewst its available on top right of 2nd page now!

It may also be available on NTL but am not sure about how to access on there so if you know feel free to post!
