Why is it that the people at work who were always so unbearably horrible to you suddenly become your new best friend after you give in your notice? One day they are yelling at you because the delivery hasn't been checked of compleatly (especially when you are suddenly given three boxes more than usual) and the next they're the essence of sweetness and good nature.
Is it because they want you to stay or are so delighted your leaving thaey can't contain themselves?
