Hi MdA,
I thought I'd check how you were. Are you still trying to find that PGGB recipe after the last cocktail party?
We really ought to have another cocktail evening again. If necessary we can just but a ready-mixed PGGB mix from the local supermarket.

Hi 6,
Think I got the PGGB sorted, just need to find some of that ol' janx spirit & I'll be away.
Does A**a actually do ready-mixed PGGB's? If they do, then grab a basket full & we'll have ourselves another party.
Think I might try a 'themed' night. Possibly fancy dress, havent worked it out yet.
So, how are you keeping?

I much prefer your freshly mixed cocktails to the ready prepared ones available in supermarkets.
I particularly like the curly straws and the little umbrellas.
I think the fancy dress night sounds good, I could come in my A**a uniform.
I don't hink A**a actually sell PGGB but perhaps you could mix some up and I'll pass them onto the buyers. (We could be millionaires...)
I'm keeping just fine except for having aching legs and being a little bit sleepy.
I hope you'll be around one evening this week as there a lot of mess in the bar area and as bartender you really should clear it up.
I'm referring particularly to the location where Colin (my )threw up the other day.

Okay,
I'll stock up on curly straws and umbrellys, we'll have a fancy dress night this week sometime. I'll come as a ball of Edam, you can come as an A**a employee & peel me
Whats the matter with your legs ? They look fine from *here* ! Maybe you just spend too much time stood up on them
And the has to clean its own mess up. Sorry, its bar policy. Peej might lend it his towel if it promises to wash it afterwards & doesn't sing while scrubbing.

PeeJ won't let Colin borrow his towel and besides, it already has sick all over it.
My legs are worn out from all the dancing I did on Saturday night. They were fine yesterday though.
As for the fancy dress, if you come as a ball of Edam and Edam Cheese turns up not realising it's fancy dress, isn't there a danger we could all get very confused.
Also, I've never peeled Edam whilst in my work uniform. I have on occasion cut one up into 8ths or 12ths. You may want to reconsider your choice of dress.
Can you get some of those little cocktail stirrers shaped like giraffes?

Okay okay, I won't come as a ball of Edam, despite the obvious attraction that being devoured by Ms Edam has.
I'll have to see if I can find any of those giraffe shaped cocktail stirrers, although they always seem a bit tackey to me. Might just stick to the umbrelly & curley straw. Maybe start sticking a few sparklers in there as well. And cherries on sticks.
I'm afraid if the doesn't clean its own mess up, I'll have to ban it.

I s'pose I'll have to clean up the sick myself then.
On the subject of cocktail accessories, are we going to start having all manner of fruit suck on the side of our glasses? Perhaps you could get a few pineapples and kiwi fruit and stuff.

I may start to add a bit of a fruit theme to the cocktails. Think I'll just off with cherries and things on sticks, I might possibly cut up a few pinapples and put a slice on the cocktail glass, you know, all tastefull like.
Think its a definate 'go' on the sparklers, got a box left over from bonfire night.

Nahh, don't think it matters
Lets face it, most of these cocktails are so alchoholic, that putting *any* naked flame near them is pretty lethal.
We'll have to make sure there are plenty of damp towels around to put out any *incidents*
I need to get some decent music in as well. I'm fed up with BtB, excellent though it is...

Um, not sure what music to have, just as long as it doesn't involve any kind of building construction based lyrics.
Quite fancy a bit of Kylie.

What about some Abba or Village People?

O.k. although I don't think we should really stereotype a bar just because of the music it plays...
I take it Queen is out of the question...
We could always have radio2 playing softly in the background.

I think everyone should just bring a CD or two along & we'll sort it out at the time, Abba, Village People, Queen, Brian Adams, whatever
Shall I get some topless barmaids in?
Peej might like that, he's obviosly a bit frustrated

I really don't think topless barmaid would do anything other than add to his frustration.
He's having problems sleeping y'know. He thinks it's all the cheese he's been eating recently. I'm not so sure...
