I've been very negligent on links, but if you nag me enough, I'll help you. There is one excellent entry on Amateur Theatre Lighting which will, of course, get its place, but I don't know how much else is there.

Just a few things: you've mostly capitalised the jobs (Director, Stage Manager etc), but not always. Was that deliberate or shall I capitalise them all?

I cannot find the word dramatician in any dictionary. I know what it means, but is there a valid synonym?

What are mivvies? (just curious, it's another word I couldn't find anywhere).

I would go with capitalising all of them. It will make cross-referencing easier.

I suppose you'd better replace dramatician, although I really quite like the word. I don't know what with, but I'm sure you'll find something.

A Mivvi is a British orange-flavoured ice lolly, traditionally doled out with Cornettos during the interval.

How about drama students? It's the closest I can get. Or I could ask Gnomon if it is OK to leave it in. I guess everybody will know what it means.

Yes, I'd probably capitalise Mivvy. In fact, you could call them Orange Mivvies if you really want to be clear.

I'd risk leaving in dramatician; I'm sure no-one will check.

Gnomon is the head of the sub-eds, I'm sure he'll check. But I'll leave it in because I think it is clear (and it is poetic license )

Not strictly on topic I fear, but I was rather thrilled to see a mention of Mivvies. One afternoon after school, I bought one for a girl ( a year older than me) on whom I had a crush. I was seven and the act had an additional bravery attached to it because there was a wolf that lived in the basement area, down the steps in front of the sweet shop. I walked all the way to her house, which was a fair distance added to my normal walk home ( this was the sixties and walking home a fair way, on your own, as a seven year old, was not a big deal) . It began to melt. I got there, ran the door bell. Her brother answered and I lost my nerve, thrusting it into his hand, mumbling that it was for Diane ( Metcalfe, if I can remember well over 40 years later) and ran away. So the Mivvy ( and I think that they also used to come in some kind of black currant flavour) is a vital part of my formative, pre dating years.
