I didn't realise until just now that EotM is an actual named Entry. In that case, we'll handle the archive, but we'll need you to change the way you submit articles.
In future, could you write the article as you do, but send in the ML rather than a link to the version you've written? Then, at the top, add a line to the email saying which Entry was the winner of the previous month's voting, including the A-number. It's easier for us to produce both the archive and the column that way.
Meanwhile, I'm not sure if you're aware that the next Post deadline is today...

I've added the archive to it now - thanks for sending it in the new way. I failed utterly to come up with a convincing banner, so I've asked the Community Artists for help.

By the by - the archive is missing last September's winner: Prime Numbers.

Oh, yes, that wasn't listed in the next column, I don't think. I was going to check that with you. One of the links is wrong as well - I'll fix them up later. At least it's there

I was thinking, as well, that it'd be nice to start doing EoTM retrospectives to cover some older months. It'd be a lot of work, though.

Well, start working backwards. We could have an Entry of The Month for every month right back to May 1999.

That would be brilliant. We could have a 'new' EotM once a month, and a retrospective every other issue.
It would be a lot of work on your own, but why not ask for other people to nominate retrospectively? Ask Gnomon, GB, Pin, Jordan and a few others to have a look at a month each and you'd be well on your way.

Ooo, I think that's a great idea. Perhaps if you even managed to get older Researchers who were about back then to nominate? Shazz? Mina? Mikey? Gosho? Could spark some fresh life into hootoo as a whole.
I'm happy to run up a brief for one. Past Entry of the Month's as such. I'm not at work tomorrow Rich, how about it?

In principle, yes. I'll need to get the mystery new writer to take a lok, though, to see how it fits with his/her () plans. If you want to email me a draft, I'll pass it on.
