We didn't start the fire

Howdy,
I'm new to h2g2 but have been looking around the past few days and have a good feel for it. I've been looking for ways to get myself writing entries with the goal of ending up writing some really good entries that get edited and finally, volunteering as a sub-editor. Your 'We Didn't Start the Fire' project seemed to me to be a good place for me to start.
I'd like to volunteer to write the entry on Bernie Goetz. I was growing up in New York at the time of his crimes and the guy is, well, beyond nuts and totally interesting.
Sound good? Do you have a deadline for this?
Thanks!
Charlie

Sounds great!
No deadline as such (I've got somewhere in the region of 120 entries to pull together!), but try not to write too much. When you've finished, let me know (with a link to the entry) and I'll pull it together with all the other ones from the same year and give you a co-credit.

All set.
Please check out A2161946 and tell me what you think.
Should I submit it for review or will all the entries go in together?
As it is my first entry, I'm wondering if it is something that I could normally submit for review as it is?
Thanks!

dang. sorry about that link. I'm still trying to figure out when to use GuideML and when it makes a link automatically.

Thanks! Glad you like.
I might volunteer for some more for this project seeing as how at one point in my life I tried to memorize all the words to the song.
