... how addictive online MMORPGs can be.
On the way home we decided (after weeks of deciding) to buy a second PS3 so that we can play co-op multiplayer games together. There are so few games that you can play together on one confose it was becoming frustrating.
So we're now happily starting out in White Knight Chronicles. It's the first time I've ever played online with people before, and last night was a lot of fun. We were all very low level characters who had made it just as far into the game as necessary in order to open up the multiplayer mode.
We wandered around and killed monsters and congratulated each other when we levelled up - it was lovely! I finally understood why my character could 'emote' - in the game NPCs don't care but real people appreciate a wave goodbye or applause when they finish something.
I doubt I'll play that often, and when I do it'll mostly be with Mr Vip, but if I have a few hours to kill I could be persuaded to pop on there again.
So if you ever see a very short, green haired lass with a bow in a room somewhere, that's me. Come and say hello.

Hum, I guess I do avoid them on purpose. Most were rubbish but I guess there's the odd diamond that suddenly takes over your whole life!

What a funny coincidence there. Most people I know are totally addicted to bejewelled. I'm too stupid/slow/whatever to even understand what it is about.

I got over my bejewelled addiction before I joined Facebook. Now I seem to be playing a sort of adult doll's house game. Little houses and lots of accessories. Oh and costumes for the avatar. Sort of shopping for At least I'm not as bad as some of my online friends who actually pay 'real' money to buy the items.

Oh BoB - I managed to spend twenty minutes attempting to take a photograph of my character using the in-game camera.
It was only going to take a second...*sigh*
I haven't got as far as buying stuff with real money, although I did click on the link to see what it did. As soon as I realised that was where it was going to I went back.
It takes some of the fun out - I've earned that little village through my hard work, not my OC money. It's nice visiting other people's places though, full of interesting things.
