h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

So, I'm in the flat, and I'm back online (sort of). It turns out that I don't have a BT line installed, plus the council still don't officially know that the flats exist, so for the moment I've got a hellish bolt on tapped onto my mobile, which is currently being a modem. The plan is to download any programmes at work, and keep my home use to an absolute minimum. Whilst I'm on the subject, does anyone know of a good programme that can keep a track of how much I've downloaded? I've got 3G per month, but I don't really know how much that is. Eeep...

Anything else? Well, I'm still happy; the flat is orange and great (the kitchen is orange and metal- better than it sounds!), T is still making me all doe-eyed and happy, work is frustrating but still the best job I've ever had, and I've got half my stuff unpacked. Hurrah!

Now, to watch Heroes, play FF VIII, or do some more unpacking? Choices, choices, choices!

Bizarre!

I was trying to post in text-only mode and it cme up with errors, so I reverted to Plain skin, posted, and then discovered that it actually had posted the first time round!

Well, c'mon then, what did you decide? Heroes, FF or unpacking? You can't keep us in suspense like this.

Heroes! Well, a litlle bit of unpacking too, but mostly just Heroes. I'm uh... kinda hooked now. Ooops...

Is that my fault? I'm sure I remember mentioning it to you. Get on with the unpacking, then you can shout "Yatta!" and get back to your DVDs.

Nah, this one's T's fault. I've got the whole lot of Season 1 on my hard drive at the minute.

If you want to come over this evening I can set aside some time to watch episode four. Or a game or Carcasonne. Could text the others too, if you're free...

I'm mostly staying at home coughing at the moment, though I think I'm on the mend. Don't know how contagious I am though, and I did have nasty horrible headaches on Friday so you wouldn't really want to catch this.

Checking the episode guide episode 4 is a fun one.

The early episodes are good but it gets better. Amazingly good TV. We're still catching up with the pile of videos containing Heroes episodes. Just watched ep19 last night.

How long will you be waiting for a phone line etc, do you know yet?

No idea how long I'll be waiting for a phone line. I've spoken to the letting agents and they are finding out. At the moment I won't need the line myself (yay!) but if nothing else I'm sure nearly everyone else will. The thing I really need is to know who my electricity and water companies are!
