It just happens that I wrote the manuals for all three Spyro games on their European release. Always adored that little fella.
There's a Spyro game available for Gameboy Advance, I believe, though with it not being a Sony release I've not seen it.
By the way, the music for the first game was written by ex-drummer with the Police, Stewart Copeland.
Nice entry,

My daughter has the gameboy Spyro (she says it's hard) and the Year of the dragon. This entry is excellent.

Ooh - praise indeed!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
(you can see how long it's been since I read this entry, though!)
I wasn't sure if I should actually mention that Stewart Copeland wrote the music ('cos I love a lot of it). Maybe I'll put it in that he did.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I preferred the 2nd one myself. I think you should put this in for peer review.

Conceited Little Megapuppy - Inbound traveller and Unas Matriarch Posted Feb 10, 2003
I think I might have to - I wrote this entry for someone's project, but they don't seem to be around any more.
I suppose I ought to add something on Spyro: Enter the Dragon - but my attempts to play it have been frustrated by the fact that I personally find it to be - well - rubbish, really.
It's such a shame - Spyro isn't as easy to control as he used to be, the loading times are enormously long and I just don't think very much of it at all - and it's absolutely crammed with bugs. Even Stewart Copeland's music can't save it.
I have to admit that 'Year of the Dragon' is my own favourite - but that might be because it's the first one I actually completed all the way through. I had to go back and finish the other ones afterwards!
