Oo! A message on my article... Erm, I know it's a bit late to mention this, but I don't work for the Blue Moon (and never have done) so don't have the authority to take on staff for them

Yes - just north of the city centre. I work near Sheffield Uni. I've not been on h2g2 for some time so am a bit out of touch with who is where and what meets are happening (the last one I attended was about 3 years ago). Have there been any meets here?

Ahem - sorry for the delay. I've been otherwise occupied (as usual...)
I'm working in an architect's practice in Wilkinson Street - not the same one responsible for the Blue Moon (left there three years ago to return to uni). Do you ever go past the Weston Park Hospital? There's a building site there at present, adding to the cancer unit. That's one of our's - I spent a while today drawing four of the bricks.
Some bits of Sheffield do seem dominated by students, no different to a lot of cities. I guess when you are one it's not something you think about - as it was, this one wasn't in Sheffield anyway, so you can't blame me for the missing signposts Portsmouth was even stranger. I don't know it's total population, but it's student population was about half Sheffield's. Unlike Sheffield, the whole city was spring-cleaned towards the end of the academic year because when we left, the tourists arrived. I suppose what tourism Sheffield gets is not so seasonal, or significant.

? Ta Just off to get some IRL too - going out in a bit to the Millhouses.
I'm working for the James Totty Partnership. Come to think of it, I doubt anyone would spot us even if they stood outside our office - it looks like a house and, thanks to a recent re-paint outside, I think it's missing our 'sign'.
