If I get a mac with Leopard on it, can I install OS9 somehow so I can use my OS9 applications?

And if I can technically, is it sensible to do? smiley - winkeye Or am I asking for trouble?

I did a bit of Googling, and the consensus seems to be...

Use Sheepshaver. http://gwenole.beauchesne.info//en/projects/sheepshaver

What OS 9 application is worth the effort? I long ago gave up the last of my OS9 apps, even though I loved some of them dearly. The OS X apps are far better.

I'm still running tiger with a classic option so I haven't had to give anything up yet. I have some games that are OS9, and other small but useful apps that sometimes don't have an OSX option or the change to the OSX version is onerous.

Just like to keep my options open smiley - smiley
