help! my ipod is stuck on pause...

oopsies... never mind...
i went to ipod help and they said to turn on the hold button then turn it off... then they said to push on the menu button and the central button simultaneously until the apple logo appears ...which i did and it did!! then i hit menu and everything came back!!!
help! my ipod is stuck on pause...
