Right. Well. Today has been eventful.

The seal on the washing machine broke. And unbeknownst to me, flooded through to the downstairs flat. Cue one angry Welsh pensioner, and a whole heap of towels. She hurled abuse at me (like I did it on purpose) and slammed her door in my face when I tried to apologise.

Which upset me.

But being that there wasn't anything I could do, I just cleared up the mess, and went back to watching TV.

GOOD NEWS though. Not only did I get my red trousers through the post (they were meant to arrive after Xmas) but I *should* be online more regularly (without the guilt of a rising phonebill) post-Tuesday as we decided to sign up to Blueyonder's dial up Surf Unlimited, and the disc should arrive on Tuesday. Hallelujah...life *does* progress after all. And the execution of *TV* is set for April 7th. I wonder how I shall cope. *arf* Anyways...stuff is moving on. Can't wait to be able to post to ask h2g2 again...

Just a thought, but you do know that the disk'll probably be a CD, and your computer doesn't have a cd-rom drive, don't you? .. you might be wanting to ask them if it's possible to sign up without one. - sorry!

.. it shouldn't be too much hassle; my guess is that the cd rom just connects you to part of the blueyonder website which initiates the signup process.. 0800 953 5383 is the telewest/bluetonder signup line, they should be able to help you.

I'll go check out their site now. My mum spent a good 20-30 minutes on the phone to them earlier...a big *oops* all around.
