I was genuinely worried for a second there that you had a terminal illness, until I read your posting!
I'm going to die.

If I was going to die (which technically I am, can't really avoid it can I? ) I wouldn't post it on here!!!
But I am kinda. Because it looks like the gig is sold out already. I guess I can wait until next time
I'm going to die.

Yes I suppose the numbers are against all of us. Mind you, just because everyone else who isn't alive is dead, doesn't mean that everyone still alive is going to be dead - so there is hope! Personally, I plan to live forever but we'll see how it goes.
Who are Zwan then ..?
I'm going to die.

Zwan is Billy Corgan's (from The Smashing Pumpkins) new band. I would die for the man. His music is like...um...ambrosia to me. I only got to see the Pumpkins once, on their last tour.

Just reading the Ticketmaster website, there is a little bit at the bottom which says they try to accomodate up to four wheelchair users in that venue.
Maybe that means that there are always four tickets reserved for wheelchair people? If you could get hold of a wheelchair, maybe you'll get in!

And if that doesn't work, you could try bidding for them on an auction website. http://www.ebay.co.uk/ has some at 36 quid at the moment .. but it'll probably go up to a small fortune near the end unfortunately, as these things tend to do.

The wheelchair thing is probably not worth persuing - the only place where a wheelchair is a real assett is alton towers (half price entrance and no queues).
Most music venues/theatres will not bother holding wheelchair spaces if they are sold out - they just hold them till the end...plus they are usually either a: right at the front - where you are likely to get trampled to death unless you stand up, b: right at the back (so you can't see without standing) or c: on a raised platform miles away from the fun and miles away from any friends...and you will probably have to wait for hours to get off the platform to use the loo/go home
Our local cinema has specially reserved seats for wheelchairs...up three steps

If you want someone to go with you and you're desperate, sat, I'd go! .. I don't think I'm doing anything at that point in february, and I can buy tickets..

I just need a way to get tickets and get to London on £30. That's how much spare cash I have right now...
It's not that important. It's the bands first UK gig. I didn't expect to get to see them... I've kinda resolved myself to the fact that I probably won't get to see them this time around. Don't stress folks... anyway...

Hi Saturnine, glad to see you're not going to pop your clogs immediately! (see, we DO care!)
Pencil Queen, I'd be really interested to find out more about wheelchair rules & regs, could you let me know, either as a reply to this, or visit the De Myelin Nation A889194
Terri
ps anyone know the alter-ego of J Ellen 42? Something to do with dreams! She's set a contest, see my journal space to join in the fun!
