Yes I suppose the numbers are against all of us. Mind you, just because everyone else who isn't alive is dead, doesn't mean that everyone still alive is going to be dead - so there is hope! Personally, I plan to live forever but we'll see how it goes. smiley - smiley

Who are Zwan then ..?

Zwan is Billy Corgan's (from The Smashing Pumpkins) new band. I would die for the man. His music is like...um...ambrosia to me. I only got to see the Pumpkins once, on their last tour. smiley - wah

Just reading the Ticketmaster website, there is a little bit at the bottom which says they try to accomodate up to four wheelchair users in that venue.

Maybe that means that there are always four tickets reserved for wheelchair people? If you could get hold of a wheelchair, maybe you'll get in!

And if that doesn't work, you could try bidding for them on an auction website. http://www.ebay.co.uk/ has some at 36 quid at the moment .. but it'll probably go up to a small fortune near the end unfortunately, as these things tend to do.

The wheelchair thing is probably not worth persuing - the only place where a wheelchair is a real assett is alton towers (half price entrance and no queuessmiley - ok).

Most music venues/theatres will not bother holding wheelchair spaces if they are sold out - they just hold them till the end...plus they are usually either a: right at the frontsmiley - wow - where you are likely to get trampled to death unless you stand up, b: right at the back (so you can't see without standingsmiley - silly) or c: on a raised platform miles away from the fun and miles away from any friends...and you will probably have to wait for hours to get off the platform to use the loo/go homesmiley - sadface

Our local cinema has specially reserved seats for wheelchairs...up three steps

I just need a way to get tickets and get to London on £30. That's how much spare cash I have right now...

It's not that important. It's the bands first UK gig. I didn't expect to get to see them...smiley - cry I've kinda resolved myself to the fact that I probably won't get to see them this time around. Don't stress folks...smiley - ta anyway... smiley - smileysmiley - hug

Hi Saturnine, glad to see you're not going to pop your clogs immediately! (see, we DO care!)

Pencil Queen, I'd be really interested to find out more about wheelchair rules & regs, could you let me know, either as a reply to this, or visit the De Myelin Nation A889194
