Going out/staying in.
Saturnine Started conversation Jan 7, 2003
Well, my most favorite person in RL has just split with his girlfriend. No...I am NOT smiling... So I'm off out in a few hours. Yes, as shocking as it may be, I am going OUT. No idea what we're gonna do, but I figure it's just going to involve sitting in his car because we both have no money.
Just thought I had better explain my abscence on here today...

Small price to pay, no?
Seriously, though, I was in the exact same situation as you three years ago. My best friend had broken up with her boyfriend, and I suddenly became the rebound man, and she declared me to be her new boyfriend. Once that was all over and done with, I had lost both a girlfriend and a best friend. Took me years to get over it.

Ahhh...we've been friends for about 2 years now. We had a bit of a thing that went disastrously wrong at the beginning, and I was horrifically jealous when he started going out with her. I'm not going to jump back into that world again. I know how easily stuff can f**k up...! Although I am still not claiming to be devastated that they have split...

Well, according to my Buddy Bert, Rebound Relationships are third after Hangover relationships and Make-up relationships....well I guess *relationships* wasn't the word he used....
In any case, you go girl!

Hangover "relationships"? Are those conducted the morning after a night of drunken carousing?

If you have to wonder we already know the answer...

Actually, I was and that was disgusting young lady.
But if we made an assumption that was wrong, you would deny it vehemently. Not tell us you're wondering whether to deny it. So therefore we can assume its true...

>disgusting<
You want it.
Yeh, but what you could be assuming could be wrong...
Ahhh. You see. I've got you there!!

But you cant deny it unless you know what im assuming. I could be assuming you went and bought eggs to throw at trendies for all you know.

You're a bloke. I know what you are assuming...
Actually, I feel like I have a hangover, but we didn't do any drinking or anything last night...
