Hi, I dont think I have seen any spam here. Thats one of the things I like about H2G2.

We term spam as a message written by another researcher several times along h2g2. (See the <./>HouseRules</.&gt But you're right, we don't have any spam in the same sort of way you'd get adverts via email.

However post 1 of this thread was an offensive posting which needed to be removed. So it was!

Ah well, you didn't see what I did. I definitely saw spam. But no one else had to be bothered with it. Guess that's the wonder of Moderation.

I'm at home, so not really working. No need to worry that you told anyone, it's not a secret, just that a few Researchers won't log on and be annoyed by spam straightaway!

The Moderators are lovely people who get to work from home, and are paid to read h2g2. Much like me, really.

mod...mot....ahh close enough. I am sneeking my h2g2 here at work. I figure this winter I will spend more time here from home.

Many people seem to sneak h2g2 at work. Terrible behaviour - wouldn't catch me doing that. But only cos I work here. It's actually my day off - you'd think I'd find something else to do...

Using the interenet is not forbiden at work, sometimes thats how we get work done. There are just some people who like to ruin everyones fun...."Look mr boss, thoes night shift people only surf the net and dont do enough work"....sniffel, whine, sniff sniff...

And then theres the the guy who likes to know everyones busisness....reads your email over your shoulder (I only work with him one day a week!!)
