I just finished the first book, again. When I try to tell my friends about it they just give me this strange look and shake their heads. Maybe, I'm not associating with the right people. It's been over 15 years since I read the series and they are as fresh and enjoyable as ever. Why do I seem to be the only one in this area who knows anything about Hitching? Oh well, like the book says. . . DON'T PANIC.

But spend a while choosing a good name, because if you change it, you will confuse people who have been talking with you. You haven't received an official welcome yet, because you haven't written anything on your personal space. If you put anything at all here, people will then be able to send you personal messages and you will get an official welcome. The personal messages are still visible to everyone in h2g2, but they are intended specifically for you, rather than being part of a conversation about something else.

I haven't written anything in my personal pages, yet, because I tend to work long, long, long hours. I really should be sleeping right now. I will get around to it soon. Thanks for the info, though.
