It is Jan 27th 2002, currently 18:15 in Montréal, and the weather is VERY unusual for this time of year (or so I've been told).
It is sunny, and there is NO snow....many people have told me that at this time of year there is usually at least a foot of snow and the temperature is about -20 Centigrade.
Right now it is probably about -5...
What is going on?
This being my first winter here, I also often ask myself another question: Am I glad that it is not a usual winter here (cos I would be freezing), or am I disappointed that I am not experiencing the famously harsh 'real' winter here?
Haven't yet decided on the answer...though I'd like it if there was more snow..
