I have been playing magic for not long yet, maybe a month. I use a white-blue deck currently and can't seem to make it smaller than 90 or so cards. I look through, come across a card, and think "this is my best card" about every card. Also I don't know the names of most cards so this guide made less sense to me.

Trick is to figure, if you did not actuly use the card to win in the list 5 games or soo it's not that good of a card. and a 90 card deck is not to bad. mine tend to float around 75 or so.

Since april 7th my decks have gone down in size to only occasionally being as large as 65, but I still focus too much on certain cards that are similar rather than cards that work together to win. oh well, I can't afford more than a few rares anyway.

I find that with 60 cards, I have a much better chance of drawing the cards I need.
Keep a 15 card sideboard and swap them in if you need them.

I don't play tournaments so I don't sideboard. I'm not even sure how it works.
